Refractive Dispersion System (RDS) is a test bench to analyze the interplay of light and surfaces. The device includes an LED light source, a lens that amplifies the light beam and a small plate being spinned by a rotating engine.
The surface to be studied (painted clay, metal, plastic, water, etc) is placed on top of the rotating plate, while the whole system structure allows a distance and angle adjustment on both light source and lens, mandatory in order to obtain a correct reflection.
